Welcome to the new blog of Charm City Mentoring for girls between the ages of 10-21. Charm City Mentoring began based off of the need for girls, young ladies and young women in Baltimore to have a support system. You see so many programs and support systems for the young men of Baltimore but never enough time or support is ever dedicated to our girls.
The common mistake, that because they are girls and young women that they do not need the support they can make it on their own is not the case. Many young women are headed down the wrong path and need mentoring from women who are making it in the city! They need a sense of value and Charm City mentoring is here to do that.
Charm City Mentoring will match each young lady to a mentor and will be exposed to the following:
*Arts and Culture
*Job readyness and professionalism
* Volunteerism and Humanity
*Core Family Values
*Understanding of their city and their whereabouts!
